i love Shadowlands is the first time i play this expansion and i didin't finished yet, but i am in zereth mortis and is so much better than BFA and has become one of my favorite expansions. The Story is the part that i like the most in the game, and for me, Shadowlands have been so good in this part, Arden is the most beautiful i ever seen in the game too, i simply don't understand why multiple players don't like this expansion

Don't forget to mention how, in WoW, you can go back to older dungeons and raids way over-leveled and just rampage through them like a god of death to get mounts, pets, transmogs, and currencies. Even though it's old content, you can still do it and have some fun collecting.

The lack of quests in Guild Wars 2 is the thing, why I can’t have it as my No.1 MMO. It feels so much less meaningful. I love WoW‘s quest hubs, picking up all the different quests, getting outside the town, going in one big circle while completing them, coming home with everything succeeded and getting the rewards. I like that little loop.

Open world would be a lot more boring. I remember trying to level a holy priest or a prot warrior in WoW back in the day... Never. Again. GW2 is not all about raids and strikes and fractals. In fact, the number of people actually doing those to the exclusion of open world is minimal. Its just content creators that really focus on them and make them seem more important in the game. GW2 is balanced more around open world and wvw.

Haven't seen much talk about the warclaw stuff yet probably because they haven't focused on it in the marketing. But I do like this idea of upgrading and then reselling them in new expansions is good, makes existing content better and fresh, makes mounts more accessible. I kinda expect the 5 from PoF to be off-limits because if you make *every* main mastery feature of PoF available elsewhere it's sort of bad practice and cannibalizes their own expansion. I do think roller beetle can absolutely get this treatment though, I'd love a plains or desert again expansion (something with wide open spaces) where you can race around on it and give it more attention than before

This game actually still has a huge thriving community and somehow the value of its gold is still very strong, and recently went way up. Only downside is it's impossible so the poor and rich are divided more than ever. No one in the world is end-game, not even close. Somebody told me someone offered him $17,000 for a seal of the extreme upgrade 7 on his sword. Not even the sword, just a transferrable seal of the extreme upgrade.

What do you even mean at 4:35? Programs that increase visuals? What do you mean by that and you gave no examples not even a link to the video you reference?

I started playing when bc came out. I stopped playing in 2013 MoP. I was bored last week and decided to check in and see. I created a free character and I was disappointed. The game is easier compared to what I went through back in the days. Buying a mount at level 10 🤯😂. I also discovered that I can't see my character unless I pay. That sucks... I left my toons at level 90... Last thing I noticed was there's no one around. The realm I was in is dead.

From the perspective of someone who doesn't play GW2: regarding the beneficial orbs that didn't seem necessary, perhaps they're an important mechanic at higher difficulties of this fight? That way they're being introduced while the stakes are lower, but still teaching the player what their purpose is.

Would definitely prefer at least 5-10 more years of gw2. Honestly would prefer they just make a completely different kind of game after gw2, not another MMO...

yeah its time, because content has been stale and repititive for years now hopefully in gw3 they dont make fixed weapon skills and let us theorycraft a bit more like we did in gw1

I want 2-3 more weapons, at least 1 more elite spec, airship, and some expansion that includes Dominion of Winds (tengu) before Guild Wars 2 is done..

I made a lvl163 force blader. I think the baddest thing in the game was my finisher as a force blader where I summoned a circle and mashed my blade into the circle finishing you off as you froze because the game already calculated your death before my moved finished it’s animation 🙂 and the bad ass motorcycle mount!!!!!

oh, I would not want to be in the shoes of the decision makers. 10 years is a good point to start considering because of engine and graphics updates but outside that it is a nightmare gamble: Do you build up the story/plotline and run the risk of alienating new players or go for new and risk alienating current players. Do you keep the same design choices and limit your dev creativity or run the risk of flopping with some new designs. Do you eve have the budget to split your team and keep the current version engaging enough as not to lose players? (I will have to try this game at some point now that I have a better popoto)

I think we have time. Years. Currently getting back in the game so no worries about gw3.

GW3 is eventually coming, whether people want to believe it or not. The fact there's a GW2, should be more than enough evidence, then you mix in the fact that more elite specs aren't being introduced is what seals the deal. This company has the luxury of being able to do this and GW2 is over a decade old. What they're going to do next, couldn't tell you, maybe actually make an MMO with a dungeon finder that involves the trinity to compete with other Triple A games would be a good start. The group finder they have is a dated system, and I understand why they did it, tank and heal specs weren't their concern. But if there were a company out there that could overtake the king, the king being WoW, this is the company that could do it. Blizzard's reign has to end some year. lol You pretty much hit on the points I was typing up as I was listening to you, other than the elite specs. There's plenty of room for improvement and part 3 would be just that.

Great conversation I love this content. Two things come to mind for me; does the sequel add a new chapter to the story or just small blossoms off old ideas and characters? Are there any new game features? Do they add to the spirit of the game story or water it down? Also, with emphasis, was this change used as an opportunity to monetize the game further or make it more pay to win? Were micro transactions or micro subscriptions added? Do they affect f2p viability at all? Zero tolerance should be the norm here. I’m fairly new to gw2 I’m a filthy casual as well proudly and I hope this beautiful visual peaceful vibe inducing game keeps thriving.

Charge can't be avoided since person targeted is stunned. Everyone else should avoid it though. I got targeted by it but easily survived it. Last boss' big "sucking to middle" attack almost caused me to get heart attack. Was a bit late to react which caused me almost being sucked to middle. Getting pulled -> Oh no! I'm going to die! -> run Forrest run! -> Oh no! Getting pulled again. Which then repeated until I got behind rock where rest of team was watching.

i agree with ur overall take except that you said they should make the shop integrated with the game/better or whatever. Nah - i want the shop to be as remote as possible and not integrated at all. I play ffxiv and im very happy that the store isnt even accessible from the game

Plunderstorm is the most fun I've had with wow pvp. Just wish it was integrated better into the game than a choice on login.

personally due to the extreme degree of 'take your time' advice........the Full Game is a trap and you shouldnt even consider it until you clear HW. Having that Sub hanging over your head while still finding your way through makes you feel like you need to rush

GW2 do be looking really ugly though. Everyone says gw2 has better graphics but it litteraly looks like ps3 game or even worse tbh. Blinding bloom and really baddle modles and fidelity
